Puncte forte
The Pferd Tools sanding sheets from the CDR Version range, featuring CO-COOL ceramic grit, are designed for aggressive sanding with high material removal rates on hard and poor-conducting materials. The self-sharpening ceramic grit and active abrasive additives ensure consistent cutting performance whilst reducing clogging and heat build-up.
Features:
These sanding sheets are suitable for sharpening, texturing, step-by-step fine sanding, machining weld seams, surface finishing, chamfering, deburring and levelling. The self-sharpening ceramic grain enables aggressive sanding with consistent performance. Active abrasive additives improve material removal, reduce clogging and enable grinding without excessive heat build-up on hard and poor heat-conducting materials. The CDR system is based on a plastic external threaded connection on the tool side and is mounted on COMBIDISC backing discs from Pferd Tools (also compatible with standard systems). Tool changes are quick, handling is simple and operation is virtually vibration-free. Furthermore, problems such as sticking, slipping or detachment are significantly reduced.

Aplicații
The CDR Version range with CO-COOL ceramic grain is suitable for working on unhardened and untreated steels, structural steels, carbon steels, tool steels, unalloyed steels, cast steels, hardened or heat-treated steels, alloy steels, austenitic stainless steels, bronze, titanium, and nickel- and cobalt-based alloys. They can also be used on soft aluminium alloys, although corundum is better suited for this purpose. These abrasive sheets are used for surface preparation, post-weld finishing, deburring, chamfering or step-by-step finishing in metalworking, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance and metal fabrication. They are designed for use with backing plates on machines with a flexible shaft and angle attachment, as well as on small pneumatic or electric angle grinders.
