Jigsaw blade for metal Saw blade quality: HSS: Fully hardened high-speed steel for use in harder materials such as metal, aluminium and non-ferrous metals. Tooth design: Side clearance milled, wavy set. Blade with fine result for straight cuts in soft steel, aluminium, non-ferrous metals and plastics. Tooth pitch: Small tooth pitch for fine cuts with slower work progress, in hard and/or thin material such as metals and non-ferrous metals. Use: For medium metal sheets, with plunge tip. Application: Saw blades are subject to high mechanical and thermal loads. For this reason, the use of specific coolants, e.g. cutting oil (for steel, metals), turpentine (for aluminium), is recommended in order to extend the wear-resistance of the saw blade.
