Detalii produs : C85WE12-25 SMC - SMC C85WE12-25 THROUGH ROD CYLINDER
SMC offers double-acting, through-rod pneumatic cylinders, compliant with ISO 6432. The range covers six bore sizes, from 8 mm to 25 mm, with two main variants depending on whether or not an integrated magnet is fitted for position sensing.
Characteristics :
This double-acting pneumatic cylinder drives a through rod on both sides of the body, which allows symmetrical rod extension and flexible mounting depending on the chosen orientation. Compressed air feeds the two chambers alternately, without the use of a lubricant, as the construction requires no additional lubrication.
End-of-stroke cushioning is, by default, based on an elastic system; a pneumatic cushion is available as an option from the 10 mm bore size upwards, with the smallest bore size accepting only the elastic version.
References beginning with C85W correspond to the version without a magnet, while those beginning with CD85W designate the detectable version, fitted with an integrated magnet. This detectable version incorporates a magnet enabling the piston position to be detected using compatible magnetic sensors, mounted on a rail or with a clamp depending on the model chosen.
Several mounting brackets complete the range, including the single bracket, double bracket, flange and trunnion, together with rod-end accessories such as the rod eye or clevis. As an option, a rod boot, in nylon fabric or in fabric resistant to high temperatures, protects the rod on 20 mm and 25 mm bores. Special versions extend the field of application: modified rod end, temperature resistance from -40 °C to 150 °C depending on the variant, reinforced wiper or stainless steel construction.

Aplicații
This type of cylinder is suited to automation installations where linear movement in both directions is required, with the through-rod configuration allowing fixing or drive at both rod ends. This dual accessibility makes it possible, for example, to mount a cam at the rear to actuate an external position sensor, while the front of the rod moves the load.
This type of cylinder is found on stop and push systems on conveyors, packaging and assembly machines, as well as on gates where symmetrical movement in both directions is required. The version with integrated magnet is suitable for assemblies requiring end-of-stroke position monitoring.
