Cutting disc SG STEEL for steel work

Design: Aluminium oxide (A 24, A 30, A 46, A 60), with fibre-reinforced resin bond. Standard bore 22.23 mm. Application: For processing steel. For cutting sheets, profiles and solid materials, for creating openings. Thin cutting discs (1.0-1.9 mm thick) are ideal for fast and convenient deburring, 2.4 mm thickness for universal cutting jobs and 3.0 to 3.2 mm thickness for maximum tool life with high lateral stability. Note: For more safety and higher lateral stability working with cutting discs from 178 mm Ø we recommend using a spanner flange. Important note for working with stainless steel: For working with stainless steel generally only iron and sulphur-free tools are recommended. A tool should never be used for stainless steel after processing ordinary steel. Residue from ordinary steel can be left on the tool. These residues destroy any stainless steel alloy and lead to the formation of rust on the machined stainless steel. Even sparks from machining ordinary steel can damage stainless steel alloys.
